01
What cookies do
Cookies are small data files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include browser storage and tracking pixels. They can support access, remember preferences or measure activity, depending on how a website is configured.
02
Current website features
The Pelorus Terminals page code currently sets no cookies and uses no local storage or session storage. The language switch links to the English or Spanish page without storing a language preference. Slides, diagrams and the company profile viewer work without optional tracking technologies.
03
Hosting and sign-in services
The service delivering the website may use essential cookies or related technologies for security, access and authentication. These platform functions are separate from optional marketing or analytics. Any sign-in service provides its own privacy and cookie information.
04
Optional analytics and advertising
No optional analytics, advertising pixels or third-party marketing embeds are included in the current website content. There are therefore no optional tracking categories to enable in this version. If optional technologies are introduced, this information and the relevant choice controls will need to be updated before they are activated where consent is required.
05
Contact form processing
Submitting the contact form connects to our form-processing service. The website does not load a tracking script from that provider when you browse; the submission request sends the form details and technical request information. If you continue on a page hosted by the submission provider, that service’s own privacy and cookie practices apply.
06
Browser controls
You can inspect, block or delete cookies and site data through your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking essential technologies may affect access or sign-in. Browser controls do not delete messages you have already sent by email.
